CutePolish

Starting in early 2010, CutePolish began on YouTube by making nail art tutorial videos with clear instructions and simple techniques that anyone can do. The videos are created and narrated by an unknown woman with a crystal clear voice and steady hands, making her nail art simply flawless. Some of these techniques she shows in the videos include using dotting tools to create mini mustaches and using tattoos as a way of creating easy nail artwork. Videos are added every week, bringing new easy methods to viewers on how to do today's top nail polish trends such as water marble nails and galaxy nails.

CutePolish’s popularity increased dramatically within the past year or so. It began to interact with its viewers, asking for suggestions on future videos and for photos of recreations. The channel has now received over a hundred million page views on its YouTube channel and moved onto other social networking sites. It currently has over two hundred million likes on Facebook and almost 200,000 followers on Twitter. Because of this success, it has attracted the attention of other companies. Earlier this summer, CutePolish announced that it has partnered with Disney on its new fashion YouTube channel, Disney Style. Each month, CutePolish creates a new nail art design for the channel such as a design inspired by the dress worn by the main character of Disney and Pixar’s newest film, Brave, and the face of Perry the Platypus from Disney Channel’s hit television show, “Phineas and Ferb”. CutePolish has even begun to create new organic nail products now available on its official site and continues its success on its original YouTube channel.
